About SocBiN

SocBiN is a non-profit organisation for people working with and interested in bioinformatics and computational biology. The society brings together researchers across the Nordic countries and the wider Baltic region, supports scientific exchange, and has historically organised the annual Bioinformatics conference series.

SocBiN is the affiliated regional group in the Nordic and Baltic regions of ISCB, the International Society for Computational Biology.
